SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 23

Requesting the name of the Barboursville Veterans' Home be
changed to the West Virginia Veterans' Facility in
Barboursville.
Whereas, The citizens of West Virginia have provided a
facility to house many of the state's veterans in a warm and
comfortable environment; and
Whereas, The residents and administration of the
Barboursville Veterans' Home, Barboursville, West Virginia,
desire to express their appreciation to the citizens of West
Virginia by requesting that the name of their facility be changed
to the "West Virginia Veterans' Facility in Barboursville";
therefore, be it
Resolved by the Senate:
That the Senate hereby request that the name of
Barboursville Veterans' Home be changed to the West Virginia
Veterans' Facility in Barboursville; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk is hereby directed to
forward a copy of this resolution to the director of the West
Virginia division of veterans' affairs.
